Meredith Arthur, D.O.

Dr. Arthur grew up in South Central New Jersey outside of Philadelphia, PA where she was very involved in sports and the performing arts.

 

During undergrad at Towson University she rowed with the Crew team daily before daybreak in Baltimore's Inner Harbour. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with two Bachelor of Science degrees, Molecular Biology and Psychology.

 

Medical School and training took her to Long Island, NY for 7 years. She earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric training at a dual accredited program between Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, NY and Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY.

 

After practicing over six years on the DelMarVA Peninsula, she relocated to join Physicians to Children in 2014.

Dr. Arthur is board certified by both the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics. She has been a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2007.

 

When not is the office, Dr. Arthur is likely to be found playing roller or ice hockey and soccer with her three boys. In quieter moments she can be found gardening and enjoys growing food her family can eat.
